Paftom is a social media platform that provides a place for people to communicate with the products, solutions, services and technologies it offers.

Our goal is to create a free and ever-evolving environment where people can interact safely, privately and freely.

This document has been prepared to explain the methods by which we try to provide the mentioned environment, how we generate income, how we use the information we collect, and similar situations.

Overview

These Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Community Standards (collectively, the "Terms") are a whole and have been created by Paftom Technology Limited Company ("We", "Company") to explain the conditions under which Paftom is used.

The Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Us and supersede all prior agreements. By using Paftom, you are deemed to have accepted the Terms in their entirety on behalf of yourself or the organization you represent. If you do not accept the Terms, you may not use Paftom.

Usage

To use Paftom, you must be at least 13 years of age or older, as required by law. If you are not of age, you may not use Paftom. If you are a minor, you acknowledge that your use has been expressly permitted and supervised by your parent or guardian.

When you use Paftom on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to act on behalf of the organization.

When using Paftom, you must provide accurate information and ensure that it is kept current. If the information you provide is false or outdated, we may restrict or terminate your use without notice. In such cases, we are not obligated to offer you the right to object.

You may use Paftom only if you meet the Conditions and are not previously restricted from using it by Us or the law.

Content

When using Paftom, you have the ability to create, publish, and display content such as text, photos, videos, links, and more. This content may include information, ideas, and opinions.

Content is monitored according to the Terms, and we make no guarantees or commitments regarding these monitoring procedures. Only the owners of all content are responsible for them. We may restrict or delete content. We may share information about our restrictions with others or publicly to inform our community.

Content is presented based on your own and other users' preferences. You can decide what content you can view, which users your content is shown to, and restrict interactions with other users. You have the right to report any content or content you believe is abusive or violates the Terms. We do not guarantee that your reports will be reviewed or that you will receive a response.

You acknowledge that your content complies with intellectual property rights and similar laws and does not infringe the rights of others. You are solely responsible for any consequences arising from the information, ideas, and opinions in your content.

We do not claim any rights to your content. However, you grant us an unconditional, irrevocable, non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable, royalty-free, and international license to use Paftom. This license will only terminate when the linked content is completely deleted.

You have the right to delete your Paftom content at any time, in whole or in parts, unless otherwise stated. To completely delete it, you must delete your account. After deletion, your content will be unavailable to others. The content you delete will be deleted within 60 days unless we investigate your violation of the Terms or there are legal reasons. The timeframe for deleting content is unclear. If the deletion process is not completed, the licenses you grant for the content(s) will remain in effect.

Community

We have standards that bring our community together to provide an environment where everyone feels safe, free, and able to "create and explore" in peace. These standards are to ensure that Paftom and its community thrive and grow.

Privacy

We respect your privacy and explain how we use your data to maintain it securely.

Security

You should never share your Paftom password with anyone (including us). We are not responsible for any situations that may arise if you share your password with others or if you fail to ensure its security. In such cases, you should contact us.

Similarly, using Paftom with software and automation systems, attempting to harm it, and similar actions are prohibited. If we detect such actions, we may limit or permanently terminate your use.

Ads

Paftom is completely free to use. We do not generate revenue directly from your use. Instead, we generate revenue through personalized and non-personalized content ads from individuals and organizations for promotional, sales, and similar purposes.

When personalized ads are published, your information is never shared with advertisers without your direct consent. Advertisers provide us with targeted consumer information to maximize advertising success, and Paftom displays ads it determines are the most suitable match for you based on this information. During this process, your data is used only by Paftom, and advertisers are provided with anonymous, numerical data that allows them to track interactions, such as how many people viewed the ad, for analytics purposes, such as success and performance measurement.

With your consent, some special ad types will share your email address, phone number, name, and other information necessary for contact and reservation purposes with advertisers. Your consent is always sought before this sharing takes place. Without your consent, your information will never be shared with advertisers.

You will see ads while you are using the site. You will not receive advertising emails or messages from other businesses through your contact information. However, if you allow it, you may receive ads about promotions and campaigns related to Paftom itself, based on your preferences.

Chats

Chats are part of Paftom and, like the rest, are completely free. They offer real-time communication features, allowing people to interact more instantly and frequently. You won't see any ads while using chats, and the information you generate will never be used for ads, content recommendations, or similar purposes.

Chats are inherently confidential and contain proprietary information. Therefore, they are never monitored unless there is a notice or legal requirement.

Liability

Paftom is provided "as is." We make no guarantees or representations that your use of it will always be secure, available, as expected, error-free, or flawless.

You agree that, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we have the right to decline all liability for any consequences, positive or negative, that may arise from your use.

Transfers

The Terms do not grant any rights to any third party and you may not transfer your rights or obligations under them to any other party without permission from Us.

We may transfer our rights and obligations to other parties in the event of acquisition, division, merger or similar situations of our company.

Disputes

Translations of the Terms in other languages are for informational purposes only. In the event of a dispute, only the Turkish version will prevail. In all related disputes, the Istanbul Courts will be the competent court, and the laws of the Republic of Türkiye will prevail.

In case of dispute, you agree that you will first contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute through conciliation methods, but if there is no other method left after all conciliation attempts, you will pursue your official legal rights.

Changes

The Terms may change over time. If the Terms change, the new Terms will take effect and the old Terms will cease to apply. Your continued use of Paftom will constitute your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not accept the new Terms, you must delete your Paftom account and discontinue use.

Unless otherwise stated, we will notify you of any material changes through the Paftom apps and your contact information before the new Terms take effect. We encourage you to read the Terms frequently to stay informed of all possible changes.

Other

We may change your account username without notice if necessary for reasons such as collaborations, intellectual property rights, identity fraud, or similar.

Failure to enforce any part of the Terms will not be considered a waiver and the remainder of the Terms will remain in effect.

We reserve all rights not expressly granted in the Terms.
